Ice Age Island 2012-2015

Ice Age Island is a multi-disciplinary project born from the work beginning during QAEJ but with a renewed focus on heritage, tourism and outreach within Jersey, showcasing the Island’s prehistoric past. In 2014 this new ethos culminated in organised tours to Les Varines running daily from La Hougue Bie where both tourists and Jersey residents could participate in a site tour and handle newly excavated artefacts.
